Ivy Roads Canine Rescue is a small, non-profit canine rescue located in the regions in and around Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We are a volunteer, foster-based program, specializing in mastiff-type breeds and Bull Terriers pulled from high-kill shelters, with owner surrenders accepted on a case-by-case basis.  Once accepted into our program, dogs are placed in a foster homes for evaluation and veterinary care, and remain in our care until they are adopted, with no time limit.  All behavioral or medical issues are fully disclosed in the adoption process.

Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and place our dogs in their forever homes. We recognize the importance of partnering with other rescue organizations in allowing us to rescue dogs from all over North America.  We seek to provide owners and potential adopters with information to help them with better understanding of the breeds to support them in providing better care.
